I think "East is East" is a very exciting and interesting film. He shows really good the problems of an Pakistani family in England. One problem the film shows is for example the marriage. The religion says the father decides which wife the son should marry, but the way of life is the real contrast. Another problem which is shown is the status of the woman. This problem is really good described in "East is East". Generally the film is not bad. In every case it's good enough for an english lesson.
